The City of Casper Erosion and Sediment Control
Best Management Practices Manual describes the
Best Management Practices (BMP's) that are acceptable
to fulfill the requirements of City of Casper
Municipal Code Chapter 12.20 .
Contractors and Developers are required to
obtain an Erosion and Sediment Control permit
from the City of Casper meeting the requirements
of the City of Casper and the Wyoming Department
of Environmental Quality.
 This manual details the various recommended
BMP's for subdivision development and construction
sites, where they are appropriate, and their
basic design. It also includes information
on the creation of an acceptable Erosion and
Sediment control Plans.

An Erosion and Sediment
Control Permit is required for all construction
activities that disturb areas one acre or
greater in size within the City of Casper. Applications
are available from the City of Casper Community
Development office. For more information
